We were thrilled to wrap up our wedding season with Gabby and Tom’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Bachelor Gulch. We had the chance to meet up with Tom and Gabby earlier this year for their engagement photos and we clicked right away talking about travel and exploring the world!
We started out Gabby and Tom’s wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek. We love to shoot rehearsal dinners because it gives us a chance to get to know the couple’s family and friends and at dinner we learned that Tom and Gabby’s group is pretty amazing! Their dinner was peppered with speeches from family and friends who clearly love Gabby and Tom very much. One of our favorites might have been a friend describing how Gabby and Tom met on a group cruise, but Tom was clearly already in love with Gabby from the intro emails they’d all sent back and forth… the catch was Gabby didn’t actually write her own intro email! After dinner the group headed over to Saddleridge for some afterparty fun and to spend time with all their guests who had traveled in for the wedding.
On Saturday we met up with Gabby and her girls as they got ready at Gabby’s family vacation home in Beaver Creek. The girls had a great time getting dolled up and receiving bouquet after bouquet from Tom! Meanwhile the guys spent the morning relaxing and hanging out at the Ritz in Bachelor Gulch. Everyone met up for the ceremony at the Chapel at Beaver Creek where Gabby and Tom had a touching ceremony that highlighted their adventurous natures and commitment to one another.
Tom and Gabby had a beautiful fall day for their wedding and the stunning tented reception was a perfect venue for everyone to celebrate. The reception space featured farmhouse tables set with a beautiful array of white flowers. The place cards were set in mini Radio Flyer wagons as homage to Gabby’s great grandfather who invented the first one! At the reception Tom and Gabby’s friends proved they were ready to party by hopping on the dance floor before the bride and groom had even been announced! We haven’t seen people that ready to dance in a long time, and it was so much fun to photograph!
