Kate and Jamie are the type of couple every photographer hopes they book every weekend for the rest of their careers: fun, outgoing, good looking, and totally in love!

We met up with Kate and Jamie at the Denver Beer Garden downtown where they went on their first date. Turns out Jamie also proposed outside the beer garden under the lights of the parking lot, so we joked that they’d need to cut down the light post and take it home to hang in their living room should it ever be replaced! After some drinks we strolled around the city to some of their favorites spots near the river before heading to their house to collect their pups.

We had an awesome time eating cheese and watching Kate and Jamie’s pups Duke and Nori goof around during photos. We also headed out to the backyard where Duke’s antics stole the show. Jamie and Kate live across the street from Sloan’s Lake Park so we strolled around the bike path before heading to Zuni Street to get some photos of the city as the sun set.

We are so excited for Kate and Jamie’s wedding next summer, and maybe some skiing in between!
