It was great to take a break from our usual run-around (although we do love to travel!) to do Leah and Scott’s engagement pictures in my hometown, Vermilion. Anticipating hot weather, we got up at the crack of dawn to beat the heat and ended up pleasantly surprised by a high of 65!
We started out the day at Mill Hollow, then went raspberry picking at Aufdenkamp’s Family farm. We took a break at Scott’s grandparents’ house, then headed to quaint downtown Vermilion for lunch at the Woodstock Cafe. It was a fun, laid back session full of laughing and reminiscing about growing up in a small town. We’ll be looking forward to another visit for the wedding!
