We traveled to Riviera Maya, Mexico for Abbey and Navin’s Hindu/Christian wedding. We were incredibly excited to get to participate in an Indian wedding after spending so much time exploring the Hindu culture while we were in Nepal. We love traveling and having new cultural experiences, and we were so lucky to get to do both for this wedding!

When we met with Abbey and Navin a couple months ago, we knew we were going to like them right away. They were fun to hang out with, super laid back, and clearly in love- basically everything we look for in an ideal couple.  Sometimes there can be hurdles when two cultures come together, but Abbey and Navin’s Indian and Christian ceremonies fit together perfectly, as did the awesome group of family and friends that traveled down to the Barcelo Maya Palace with them. Everything from the Mehndi, to the Baraat, to the absolutely beautiful weather for both ceremonies (we missed a tropical storm and torrential rain by only a couple of hours!), and the rousing speeches at the reception was a ton of fun!

At the end of the day, everything really turned out perfectly!
