Kyla and Josh did it right! They wanted to snowmobile on the wedding day after the ceremony so they have the honor of being our first “snowmobile elopement”! We started the day at Bemrose Creek in Breckenridge, Colorado for the ceremony. With Quandary Peak in the background Kyla and Josh exchanged vows in a super personal ceremony. After the ceremony we did photos along the Bemrose Trail while Kyla still had her “ceremony” dress on. After we loaded everything up and headed to Vail Pass for some elopement day snowmobiling! Kyla had another dress that she wore under her snowsuit while Josh did the same with his suit under his snowsuit. Josh got a smoking deal on a Yamaha Mountain Max sled so they had their own to ride instead of going with us…just the wedding present Kyla always wanted we are sure! Luckily we had amazing weather. Temps were unseasonably warm and there was little to no wind. It made snowmobiling (and photos) so much more enjoyable. We made the rounds in the Vail Pass area and stopped to do photos on Ptarmigan Hill, Machine Gun Ridge, and Shrine Pass. The pictures show what an amazing time we all had! These are exactly the types of adventure weddings/elopements we love to do! Covid has not been much fun but when you can get out and do something fun and memorable on the wedding day it doesn’t get any better!
